Recently discovered my Grt Grandfather John Fulton was born 1816 in Barbados, My G G Grandfather William Fulton was a serving army officer and clearly spent time in bados living with his wife Mary.They are both of Scottish birth and returned to Scotland metime after Johns birth, Shown as living in Sorn Ayrshire.Id be obliged if anyone can point me in the right direction for such things as army birth records whislt abroad or service ecords of serving officers and other ranks during this time.
